Trinidaddies and Brenda Tuxford Gallery co-presented The Gesture and Its Aftermath, curated by Alexander Rondeau with works by Maddie Alexander, Sage Alucero, KATBING, Brittany Britton, Carissa Clark, Adrien Crossman, Luke Maddaford, Tyler Matheson, Kai Simons, and Hannah Suzanna.

This exhibition emerged from the complex slippages, contradictories, and sites of tension that surround queerness as a subject position that we can feel and hold but not touch nor grasp. The artists’ works use these fluid boundaries not as binaries, but as productive forces in thinking through the discursive relationship between ephemeral queer gestures and the material traces they may or may not leave behind. 

This exhibition features my performance for video “Not Yet Here.”
