Fundraiser and Art Raffle

Art Lotto was a Hamilton-based, community-driven intitiative run by Gabriel Baribeau that held online raffles of original artwork to fundraise for local communty organizations.

I raffled three of my felt pennants to fundraise for the Hamilton chapter of SWAP (Sex Worker’s Action Program)

The works I raffled included:

Intersectional, Exist, and Third Space

Medium: felt

These flags are part of a larger series of handmade felt pennants that feature political slogans and queer sentiments. Intimate objects created in the spirit of political protest signs, the text acts as both direct references to queer theory as well as stand-alone sentiments, and the colours are informed by the legend used in queer and trans flags.
